Shuchart to File by Petitions

Fred Shuchart, conservative Republican candidate for the 215th State Civil District Court, announced today his intentions to file for a place on the ballot by using petitions rather than paying a filing fee.

The Texas Election Code provides the opportunity for judicial candidates to file 500 validated signatures on judicial petitions for a place on the ballot in lieu of paying a filing fee.

“I have worked hard to gather these signatures,” Fred said. “The best part was not getting to the required number, but getting to talk to so many Harris County voters,” he concluded.

On Saturday Fred will file 71 pages of signatures that hold over 650 signatures.
